Thousands of Honduran children live in extreme poverty. According to the World Bank, Honduras is one of the poorest countries in the world. The consequences of poverty include a lack of access to health, education and nutrition, as well as sexual assaults on girls and boys. In a world where everyday life is marked by the struggle for survival, this is widely accepted. That is why the mistreatment rarely leads to lawsuits.

It was time again… We escaped the 40°C hot San Pedro Sula and went to Santa Rosa de Copán for a week with all the children. But also in the city we had undertaken all kinds of activities and also received a visit from a sponsor.

We were able to put our new school and community room into operation. Before the new school year had begun, a few children could participate in a camp. The local newspaper published a portrait and the dentist has carried out an extensive check-up of all children.
